What you’ll do as a caregiver
Every client and every day is a little different, but your work will always center on helping people live comfortably and independently at home.
Personal care assistance
Offer respectful help with bathing, dressing, and grooming — always at the client’s own pace and comfort.
Meals & light housekeeping
Prepare nourishing meals and keep the home tidy, safe, and comfortable throughout the day.
Medication reminders
Give friendly reminders so clients take the right medication at the right time, in line with their care plan.
Mobility & safety support
Help clients move safely around their home and stay steady and confident on their feet.
Errands & appointments
Assist with errands, shopping, and getting to appointments so clients stay connected to their community.
New to caregiving? That’s okay — many wonderful caregivers start with no experience. If you have a caring heart, we’ll help you build the skills, including CPR training.
